Building Process

At Sustainable Homes, we believe in making the process of building your dream home easy and memorable.

Building a home is a journey embarked by the client as well as the builder. That’s why we take you through the process with full transparency and complete information during each milestone of the process.
Involving you in the process acquaints you with the way your house is being constructed and customised according to your lifestyle.

First Date

Let’s get to know each other and learn about your dream home and the prerequisites for a successful relationship.

We will assign an expert home consultant who will:

  • Learn about your desires and requirements from your new home.
  • Will provide you an estimate cost inclusive of all add-ons.
  • Assist you in applying for First Home Owners Grant if applicable
  • Will discuss the appreciation of land and property in future if you are investing in it.
  • If you are satisfied with the initial quote and the offers, you need to pay a refundable deposit to secure your current listed base house price and promotional offer

Proposal Stage

Congratulations, you have made a great choice in building home with us. Here we complete all the formalities and applications for grants etc.

We then finalise the detailed sales estimate and prepare a thorough proposal which includes floor designs, wire layout, site survey etc.

You then make payments towards the second deposit which will be non-refundable By now we have prepared the contract and survey reports. You also need to finalise the base house price and upgrades with regards to facade, offers etc.

Contract

Once you have agreed upon the land, base price, facade design, floor designs etc. it’s time to seal the deal. Our consultant will email you the contract with all the relevant and necessary documentation for your review.

Colour Selection

Our consultant will now help you finalise the colour combination for your new home. The exciting part of creating your own home starts now. You will feel overwhelmed as your dream has started to realise. You should also forward the contract to your bank or financier for capital specific approvals.

Approval

Upon getting the approval, we make sure the land is clear for the construction process to start. You review the contract once again before we get to schedule the dream home building phase.

Construction

Most of the paperwork has been completed now actual work has started. As per the schedule given by our consultant, we keep you posted of new developments and milestones. We arrange for onsite meetings with your site supervisor for the following:

  • Before start of construction for on-site inspection
  • For inspection after roof structure and frames are raised. You can have a feel of your home by walking through the area with the roof on top.
  • We will ask you to come before tiling work starts.
  • Lastly, you conduct a thorough inspection after the practical completion stage and provide your feedback and minor changes if required.

Hand Over

Now your dream has come to life and it is exactly the way you wanted for yourself and your family. We will hand over the keys to your beautiful new house. Apart from the keys we will submit the relevant paperwork of the land and home along with warranty documents.

After Sales Service

It’s not yet over and we will still help you recover and provide free services if any minor house repairs arise. Our after sales team will always be ready to serve even after handover. If you have any issues or questions we are just one phone call away.
